Description
0.5 mg/ml, nasal spray, Oxymetazoline hydrochloride solution
1 ml contains 0.5 mg of oxymetazoline hydrochloride.
Excipients: disodium edetate, disodium phosphate anhydrous, sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate, povidone K29-32, benzalkonium chloride, macrogol 1450, purified water, benzyl alcohol, microcrystalline cellulose and carmellose sodium, lemon flavor containing natural and artificial flavors, alcohol and DL-alpha -tocopherol.
100 microliters (1 spray dose) contains 50 micrograms of oxymetazoline hydrochloride.
1 ml contains 0.5 mg of oxymetazoline hydrochloride.

Storage and use

The drug is for intranasal use only.
Use every 12 hours.
Shake before use. Wash the dispenser after use.
- Adults and children aged >10 years: 1-2 sprays in each nostril every 12 hours.
- Children aged 6-10 years: 1 dose of spray in each nostril every 12 hours.
Afrin ND should not be used for longer than 7 days unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
Do not use more than 8 sprays in adults (no more than 4 sprays in children) in 24 hours.
Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have:
- symptoms worsen or do not improve after 7 days,
- new symptoms occur.
Storage: Store at ambient temperature
