Composition and form: Each film-coated tablet contains 120 mg of fexofenadine hydrochloride, equivalent to 112 mg of fexofenadine. Oblong, biconvex, peach-colored, film-coated tablets.

Only limited data are available regarding the administration of the product to elderly patients and patients with renal or hepatic impairment. Fexofenadine hydrochloride should be used with particular caution in these patient groups. Patients with a current or history of cardiovascular disease should be warned that the use of antihistamines may be associated with adverse effects such as tachycardia and palpitations. The product contains less than 1 mmol (23 mg) sodium per tablet, i.e. the product is essentially 'sodium-free'.
