Description
Contractubex gel is a drug used to treat scars of various origins.
The active substances of the gel are:
sodium heparin, onion liquid extract and allantoin.
Contractubex has anti-proliferative, anti-inflammatory, smoothing and loosening effects on scar tissue.
Indications:
Scars that limit movement, enlarged (hypertrophic, swollen, keloid-shaped), unsightly postoperative scars, amputation scars, post-burn and post-accident scars, contractures, e.g. of fingers (Dupuytren's contracture), tendon contractures caused by injuries and scar shrinkage.
Use in children and adolescents
In children over 1 year of age, the gel can be applied to scar tissue once or twice a day.
Due to lack of data, Contractubex should not be used in children under 1 year of age.

Contraindications:
Do not use Contractubex gel if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. Contraindications to the use of the gel are: unhealed wounds, scars covering large areas of skin, damaged skin, application to mucous membranes.
