Fever

Fever - is it always dangerous?

Sometimes there is an increase in body temperature from 36.6 to even 40 degrees Celsius. A fever informs us that inflammation or infection is developing in the body. Fever is necessary so that the body, through higher body temperature, can fight microorganisms such as bacteria or viruses. At the same time, antibodies are produced to defend the body. Doctors recommend that antipyretics should only be used when the body temperature is above 38 degrees, because then a high fever can lead to this.
