In the event of abundant purulent discharge and fever, as well as in the case of chronic bronchial or lung disease, you should consider continuing treatment with this product, verify the diagnosis and use other medications, e.g. antibiotics. Patients with bronchial asthma must be closely monitored during treatment with carbocisteine ​​due to the possibility of bronchospasm. If this symptom occurs, carbocisteine ​​should be discontinued immediately.Carbocysteine ​​should not be administered to patients with a reduced ability to expectorate unless the patient is provided with respiratory physical therapy during treatment. The medicinal product contains 30 mg of aspartame in each sachet. Aspartame is a source of phenylalanine. May be harmful to patients with phenylketonuria. There are no clinical or non-clinical data on the use of aspartame in infants less than 12 weeks of age.
