Ovarin is a dietary supplement for women, containing a carefully selected set of nutrients that support the maintenance of proper hormonal balance¹, in amounts adapted to the needs of women of reproductive age. The preparation helps supplement the diet with ingredients with proven effects. It contains two isomeric forms of inositol (myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol), an active and easily digestible form of folic acid (calcium L-methylfolate), B vitamins, including vitamin B12 in the form of methylcobalamin, and vitamin D. Inositol is a vitamin-like substance naturally present in the diet. Its absorption may be influenced by improper eating habits, e.g. excess coffee, tea and alcohol, as well as stress, antibiotics and hormonal contraception.
Vitamin D, in the recommended amount², helps in the proper functioning of the immune system and participates in the process of cell division. Folic acid takes part in the process of cell division, including egg cells. Pantothenic acid (vit. B5) contributes to maintaining proper energy metabolism, synthesis and metabolism of steroid hormones, vitamin D and some neurotransmitters, and vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity. Vitamin B12 contributes to maintaining proper energy metabolism and helps in the proper functioning of the nervous and immune systems. Folic acid, vitamins B6 and B12 are involved in maintaining proper homocysteine metabolism.
