Consult your doctor if you have a first-time infection, a vaginal infection in the first trimester of pregnancy, at least 4 infections in the last year, fever (≥38°C), lower back pain abdominal pain, back pain, foul-smelling discharge, nausea, vaginal bleeding and/or pain in the arms. Pirolam Intima Vag should not be used during menstruation. This medicinal product should be discontinued before menstrual bleeding begins. Tampons, vaginal rinses, spermicides or other products for vaginal use should not be used concomitantly with this medicinal product. When using Pirolam Intima Vag, sexual intercourse should be avoided because the infection may be transmitted to the sexual partner. The sexual partner should also undergo local treatment,if he has
symptoms such as itching, inflammation. Treating sexual partners may help prevent reinfection. The contraceptive reliability and effectiveness of contraceptives such as latex condoms and vaginal rings may be reduced. The tablets should not be swallowed.
