Storage and use
How to use
Sutricon® silicone patches can be used after the wound has completely healed or after the stitches have been removed (when all the scabs have come off and new tissue has appeared).
Before use, clean and dry the scar thoroughly.

1. Cut the silicone patch to the size of the scar, including a 5 mm margin on each side.
2. Depending on the size of the scar, one package is enough for approximately 1-3 months of therapy. For a scar measuring 0.5 x 14 cm, one large package can yield 30 smaller patches. Using one silicone patch for 5 days, the package will be enough for 150 days of therapy.
3. Active action all day long. Sutricon® silicone scar patches can be worn 24 hours a day. However, at least once a day, they should be removed, the scar washed with neutral soap, dried and the same patch applied again.
4. One Sutricon® patch can be worn for up to 5 days if it is kept clean and maintains its adhesive properties. Attention! The patch should not be washed or covered with an additional dressing.

Therapy time:
The effects can be seen after a month, but the full treatment takes longer and depends on many individual factors. The most important are the size and type of scar, as well as genetic conditions. Scars heal the fastest in children, while in older people the time needed for full skin regeneration is the longest. To achieve satisfactory results, use the preparation regularly and follow the instructions for use. The average duration of therapy is: min. 3 months in the case of fresh scars and min. 6 months for older scars. If you are prone to abnormal scarring, e.g. keloids or keloids, it is recommended to use Sutricon patches throughout the entire period of scar reconstruction, even up to 12 months.
