Elderly patients. The observed lack of significant changes in the pharmacokinetic profile of levodropropizin with age suggests that modification of doses or intervals between subsequent doses in elderly people is probably not necessary. In any case, given the evidence of changes in sensitivity to many drugs in the elderly, particular caution should be exercised when using levodropropizin in this group of patients.
Caution is recommended when using the medicinal product in patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance <35 ml/min). The medicinal product should be used with caution when using sedatives in particularly sensitive patients. Antitussive drugs are symptomatic drugs intended for use only while waiting for the diagnosis of the cause of cough and/or the effect of treatment of the disease causing the cough.Due to the lack of information on the effect of meals on the absorption of Adrimax, it is recommended to take it between meals. If the cough persists for more than 7 days, the diagnosis should be verified. Excipients with known effect. The medicinal product contains 6 g of sucrose in 10 ml of syrup. This should be remembered when using it in people with diabetes. Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or the sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency should not take this medicinal product. The product contains less than 1 mmol (23 mg) sodium per 10 ml, i.e. essentially 'sodium-free'. The product contains small amounts of ethanol (alcohol), less than 100 mg per maximum daily dose.
