Afronis Description and indications

A medicinal product with antibacterial, weakly anesthetic and antipruritic properties. Afronis is indicated for use as an adjunct in acne vulgaris.

Operation

Levomenthol contained in the product Afronis has a bactericidal, weak anesthetic and anti-itching effect. Thymol and resorcinol increase the antibacterial effect of the product, and boric acid has a bacteriostatic effect and enhances the antiseptic effect of the drug.

Composition - what ingredients does Afronis contain

100 g of Afronis liquid contains 0.2 g of levomenthol, 0.05 g of thymol, 2 g of resorcinol, 3 g of boric acid.

Dosage - how to use Afronis

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age : use 1-2 times a day depending on the severity of disease symptoms. Children . It is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age.

Notes

Afronis product intended for external use only. After thoroughly washing and drying your facial skin with a towel, wait several minutes to avoid irritating effects. Then moisten the tampon with the liquid and wash only the affected areas.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to levomenthol, resorcinol, boric acid, thymol or to any of the excipients. Do not use on open wounds, mucous membranes and damaged skin, orally, in pregnant or breastfeeding patients. It is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age.

This is medicine. For safety, use it according to the leaflet included in the package.Do not exceed the maximum dose of the drug. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Special warnings / Precautions

If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product may cause allergic skin lesions. Stop using Afronis and consult your doctor. If symptoms of excessive dryness and peeling of the skin occur, the frequency of use of the product should be reduced. The medicine must not be used orally or on open wounds or mucous membranes. The product does not affect the ability to drive or operate machinery.

Interactions

Do not use with other preparations containing exfoliating ingredients, e.g. salicylic acid, sulfur, as skin irritation may occur.

Pregnancy and lactation

Do not use.

Adverse effects

Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: (unknown) skin irritation. Immune system disorders: (not known) allergic reactions.

Overdose

No case of overdose has been reported.
