Alantan Description and indications Indications:

• treatment of difficult-to-heal wounds, burns (including sunburn), chronic skin inflammation with excessive exfoliation and keratosis (atopic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis and other skin diseases),
• shallow ulcers, defects in the skin and mucous membranes.

Operation Alantan intended for topical use on the skin. Gently apply the ointment to the affected areas 2-3 times a day. You can apply a small amount of ointment to a sterile compress and apply to a clean wound. Dressings should be changed 1-2 times a day. Contraindications

Special Warnings / Precautions

If any symptoms of hypersensitivity occur on the skin where the preparation is applied (redness, itching), discontinue use and apply symptomatic treatment. Due to the lanolin content, Alantan may cause a local skin reaction (e.g. contact dermatitis). Due to the content of propylene glycol, the product may cause skin irritation. Due to the content of ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, the preparation may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed reactions). There was no effect of the product on the ability to drive or operate machinery.

Interactions

No interactions with other topically applied preparations have been observed.

Pregnancy and lactation

There is no data on the use of the product in pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Side effects

Hypersensitivity reactions and skin irritation may occur.

Overdose

There are no data on overdose when used according to the indications and method of use. If the preparation is accidentally swallowed, symptomatic treatment should be administered.
