Altazia Description and indications Altaziaja  is indicated for topical use in:

• bruises,
• joint swelling,
• post-traumatic edema,
• swelling after first degree burns.

Special Warnings / Precautions

Contact of the preparation with eyes and mucous membranes should be avoided. In case of accidental contact with eyes or mucous membranes, the preparation should be removed by rinsing it thoroughly with water. Due to the content of ethyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate, the preparation may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed reactions). Altaziaja has no influence on the ability to drive vehicles.

Interactions

There are no known interactions with other medications.

Pregnancy and lactation

There are no data on the use of the product in pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Side effects

Local skin reactions may occur. Intensive use of the preparation may cause skin maceration. Hypersensitive people may experience erythematous, papular and granulation reactions. When the preparation is used by patients with severe renal failure, there is a risk of symptoms of hyperaluminemia (increased aluminum concentration in the blood) and hypophosphatemia (decreased phosphate concentration in the blood).

Overdose

So far, no case of overdose with a topically applied gel has been described when using the drug in accordance with the indications and method of use.
