Anaftin® Gel relieves pain caused by minor changes in the oral cavity, such as aphthous stomatitis, aphthous ulcers, as well as changes caused by orthodontic braces and ill-fitting dentures. It is also indicated for use in cases of extensive aphthous ulcers. |

Anaftin® Gel contains polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and hyaluronic acid, which create a protective layer covering the oral cavity, constituting a mechanical barrier for damaged areas and thus relieving the pain caused by irritation of exposed nerve endings. The hyaluronic acid and aloe contained in the composition support the natural healing process of damaged tissues.
Instructions for use of Anaftin® Gel
Apply 1 or 2 drops of gel to the area around the ulcer or lesion. Avoid direct contact of the applicator with the lesion. Do not touch the lesion with your tongue for at least 2 minutes to allow a protective layer to form. Close the tube after each use. For best results, avoid eating or drinking for at least 1 hour after use.
Use 3-4 times daily or more often if necessary.
Composition of Anaftin® Gel
Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), maltodextrin, propylene glycol, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, xanthan gum, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, sodium hyaluronate, flavor, benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate (EDTA), sodium saccharin, dipotassium acid salt glycyrrhizin, aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis), water.
Note:
Each tube of Anaftin® Gel should be used by one patient only to avoid contamination of the applicator and gel. The use of Anaftin® Gel is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. If you are pregnant, consult your doctor before using the product.In case of frequent recurrence of oral ulcers, medical consultation is recommended.
Warnings and precautions:
Do not use after the expiry date or if the tube is damaged or leaking. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Store at room temperature, away from heat. Do not freeze.
