Inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, cough. Operation Apipulmol is a syrup intended for adults. It has an expectorant effect and loosens the secretions remaining in the bronchial tree. It reduces the viscosity of mucus and facilitates its movement in the bronchi by activating the activity of the cilia of the epithelium. Pine herbal honey enhances the expectorant effect of the syrup. Composition - what ingredients does Apipulmol contain 100g of syrup Apipulmol contains 2 g of sulfoguaiacol and 90 mg of ammonium chloride Excipients: pine herbal honey (contains sucrose), ethanol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate. Dosage - how to use Apipulmol Adults: 10 ml (1 tablespoon) 3 or 4 times a day, with a small amount of warm liquid. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to sulfoguaiacol, ammonium chloride, bee products or any of the excipients. This medicinal product should not be used in children. Warnings and Precautions

Patients who observe disturbing symptoms after use (e.g. laxative effect) should discontinue the drug and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Apipulmol syrup contains pine herb honey. Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance should not take this medicinal product.The medicinal product should not be used by people allergic to bee products.

Due to the content of methyl parahydroxybenzoate, the medicinal product may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed reactions).

Adverse effects

No serious side effects were observed. Isolated cases of laxative effects have been reported.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

No well-controlled clinical studies have been performed in pregnant and breastfeeding women, therefore the medicinal product should not be used during this period.
