Vitamin D supplementation recommendations***

- Infants 6-12 months: 400-600 IU Regardless of the season. Depending on the daily amount of vitamin D taken with food.
- Children 1-10 years: 600-1000 IU *with obesity 1200-2000 IU **In October-April or throughout the year if skin synthesis of vitamin D is not ensured in the summer months.
- Youth 11-18 years: 800-2000 IU *with obesity 1600-4000 IU **In October-April or throughout the year if skin synthesis of vitamin D is not ensured in the summer months.
