Composition - what ingredients does Artemisol contain

The preparation Artemisol is a mixture of wormwood-tansy tincture (Absinthi et Tanaceti herbae tinctura), in a stack. (1:5) with acetic acid 80%. It contains 60-65% v/v ethanol and 2 to 3.2% acetic acid.

Dosage - how to use Artemisol

Adults, adolescents and children over 7 years old . The following application regimen is traditionally used: moisten the hair abundantly with Artemisol liquid, tie it with a scarf or foil and leave it for 2-3 hours. Then wash the hair thoroughly with water and comb it with a fine-toothed comb. Children . Do not use in children under 7 years of age. Duration of use : use no more than twice a month.

Contraindications

Open wounds and acute inflammation of the scalp. Allergy to active substances or to plants from the Compositae family ( Asteraceae , formerly  Compositae ).

Notes and warnings for Artemisol

This is medicine. For safety, use it according to the leaflet included in the package. Do not exceed the maximum dose of the drug. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Special Warnings / Precautions

Artemisol can be used in children over 7 years of age.Use no more than 2 times/month. Do not swallow. If the product comes into contact with the eye mucosa, rinse it under running water. Do not use near open flame. The product is used externally. So far, there have been no negative effects on the ability to drive or operate machinery.

Interactions

Do not use simultaneously with shampoo. Surfactants may cause insecticides to be absorbed into the skin.

Pregnancy and lactation

There is no data on the safety of the product during pregnancy and breastfeeding. No data on the effect on fertility.

Adverse effects

Skin irritation. If the medicine is accidentally swallowed, disturbances in the functioning of the digestive, circulatory and nervous systems may occur.

Overdose

Product for external use. No cases of overdose are known yet.
