BLEPHA EYEBAG® is a handmade, patented, reusable eye mask, made of natural silk and cotton, with a filling of unprocessed linen (linseed). You can use it every day to provide comfort to your eyes.
BLEPHA EYEBAG® supports the treatment of meibomian gland dysfunction* (MGD) and eyelid inflammation.
Provides comfort and relieves the symptoms of dry eye syndrome associated with MGD (MGD is the main cause of this ailment) and other eye diseases, such as:
• barley
• chalazion
The BLEPHA EYEBAG® mask can also alleviate the discomfort of wearing contact lenses for people suffering from dry eye syndrome.
With its warming effect, BLEPHA EYEBAG® mask naturally supports eye health by helping to release blocked oily substances and distribute them over the eye surface. Thus, it limits the process of tear evaporation and provides the eyes with moisture. It works quickly and for a long time, relieving symptoms such as: dry eye, discomfort, tiredness or pain in the eyes, eye redness, roughness, the feeling of a foreign body in the eye or burning. Storage and use
Frequency of use of BLEPHA EYEBAG®:
For the first 2 weeks, use twice a day, morning and evening, for 5 - 10 minutes.
After the first 2 weeks, the product is usually used 3-4 times a week, but the frequency of use can be changed depending on the severity of symptoms.
General tips:
Before applying the BLEPHA EYEBAG® mask, people wearing contact lenses or prescription glasses should always remove them.
Before applying the BLEPHA EYEBAG® mask, you should also thoroughly wash your hands, face and eyelids and remove makeup.
How to use the BLEPHA EYEBAG® mask:
Remove the BLEPHA EYEBAG® mask from the packaging and place it on a clean, dry, microwave-safe plate. Always check that the dish or plate used is completely clean, as any small food residues may become intensely heated, leading to the formation of "hot spots" and burning holes in the BLEPHA EYEBAG® material.
Step 1: Place the BLEPHA EYEBAG® mask in the microwave and heat according to the instructions below.
Adjusting the heating time to the power of the microwave oven: MICROWAVE POWER HEATING TIME
Power above 750 W - heating time 30 seconds
Power up to and including 750 W - heating time 40 seconds
Note: If your microwave power is greater than 1000 W, it may be necessary to shorten the heating time.
Step 2: Shake the BLEPHA EYEBAG® mask to evenly distribute the linseed inside and therefore the heat.
Stage 3: Before placing it on closed eyelids, check whether the BLEPHA EYEBAG® mask has heated up to a pleasant, not too high temperature. Carefully check the temperature of the gray (silk) side by touching the BLEPHA EYEBAG® mask to the inside of your wrist. If the mask is too hot, wait a few minutes and then check the temperature again before applying it to your eyes.
Step 4: If the temperature is appropriate, lie on your back and place the mask over your closed eyes. Apply with either side. The black side is cooler. After 10 minutes, you can turn the mask over
silk. Leave the BLEPHA EYEBAG® mask on your eyes for 5-10 minutes and relax.
Step 5: Remove the BLEPHA EYEBAG® mask from your eyes. Due to the warming effect of the mask, skin redness may occur after use.
Stage 6: Immediately after warming up, massage closed eyelids to accelerate the flow of oily secretion from the meibomian glands. Repeat this operation several times for 30 seconds.
Stage 7: After applying the BLEPHA EYEBAG® mask and massaging the eyelids, you can also wash them with an eyelid cleansing product from the BLEPHA series.
Step 8: After use, always return the BLEPHA EYEBAG® mask to its original packaging to ensure it remains clean, dry and safe to use.
Each heating in the microwave reduces the amount of bacteria on the BLEPHA EYEBAG® mask to a minimum.
The product is suitable for children over 3 years of age and adults, including pregnant and breastfeeding women.
BLEPHA EYEBAG® used once a day should be replaced after 6 months.
