Description
BLEPHACLEAN® are sterile liquid-soaked wipes for daily eyelid hygiene, especially in the case of:
• sensitive skin around the eyes and eyelids;
• the need to remove dirt, pollen and secretions from the eyelids, which may be part of care for allergies or eye infections;
• existing inflammation or infection of the eyelids, such as blepharitis, meibomian gland disorder (MGD), stye or chalazion. These conditions may cause symptoms of dry eye syndrome such as itching, a feeling of sand in the eyes, pain and/or redness in the eyes;
• if you need to clean your eyelids before and after ophthalmological procedures, such as therapeutic injections into the eye (intravitreal injections), laser vision correction (LASIK or PRK) and cataract surgery.
Because BLEPHACLEAN® is well tolerated, it can also be used after surgery, as directed by your doctor or ophthalmologist.
BLEPHACLEAN® cleanses and removes dust, pollen and secretions from the eyelids, without disturbing the natural bacterial flora of the skin around the eyes.
BLEPHACLEAN® has been specially developed to ensure good tolerance for the sensitive skin of the eyelids and eye area.
BLEPHACLEAN® does not contain preservatives that may be harmful to the eyes. The product is tested under ophthalmological control.

Storage and use
How to use BLEPHACLEAN®.
Before eye surgery or surgery, the product should be used twice a day for 5 days or as directed by a doctor or pharmacist.
In other cases, the product should be used twice a day, morning and evening, for 3 weeks, and then once a day for 3 months or as directed by a doctor or pharmacist.
Some inflammations of the eyelids are chronic and then the hygiene of the eyelids and their edges should be practiced systematically and long-term.
If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using BLEPHACLEAN®.
1. Wash your hands thoroughly before using wipes.
2. Tear open the sachet and unfold the tissue inside. Do not use any tools to open the sachet.
3. Wrap the handkerchief around your index finger. Keeping your eye closed, gently apply the tissue to your eyelids and the base of your eyelashes. Gently massage your eyelids with small, circular movements, removing any impurities, secretions or cosmetics.
4. In front of a mirror, gently pull your lower eyelid down with your other hand, and then wipe the edge of your eyelid with a tissue wrapped around your finger.
5. Repeat around the other eye using a new wipe.
Use BLEPHACLEAN® only on your eyelids. Do not apply directly to the eyes.
Use only one wipe for one eye.
