Description
Blephademodex® are sterile wipes soaked in liquid for daily eyelid hygiene:
- in case of infection caused by demodex (Demodex),
- to relieve the symptoms of infection or inflammation of the eyelids (blepharitis) caused by Demodex.
Demodex is the most common microscopic skin parasite. Large numbers of Demodex mites may contribute to chronic inflammation of the eyelids. Demodex is not removed during regular, daily cleansing treatments, so dedicated treatment is required.
Blephademodex®:
- relieves symptoms associated with Demodex infection, such as itching, burning, dryness and inflammation of the edges of the eyelids,
- reduces redness of the eyelid edges and the feeling of irritation and the presence of a foreign body in the eye,
- cleanses eyelids and eyelashes from scabs, dandruff, dirt, infectious agents and mites.
Blephademodex® does not contain aggressive detergents and preservatives that may be harmful to the eyes. Tested under ophthalmological supervision.
Blephademodex® is well tolerated, non-greasy and does not require rinsing.
Blephademodex® contains hyaluronic acid - a natural moisturizer that soothes and regenerates sensitive skin.

Apply Blephademodex® only to the eyelids.

For single use only.
Keep your eye closed for 15 seconds after application.
Use:
- Mild to moderate symptoms: use once a day, preferably in the evening, for 4 weeks.
- Moderate to severe symptoms: use twice a day, morning and evening, for 4 weeks.
Your doctor or pharmacist may adjust the dosage and duration of treatment depending on the severity of your symptoms.
Consistent with other, similar blepharitis treatments, your doctor may recommend the concomitant use of artificial tears.
