Operation

Composition - what ingredients does Cepan contain Cepan contains: onion ethanol extract 20.0 g, chamomile extract 5.0 g, sodium heparin 5000.0 IU, allantoin 1.0 g. Excipients with known effects: cetostearyl alcohol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate. Dosage - how to use Cepan
Cepan cream is intended for use after the wound has completely healed. It should be applied in a thin layer to the scar surface 2-3 times a day, massaging lightly. You can also apply an occlusive dressing for 30 - 60 minutes, this is recommended for old scars and contractures.

Special Warnings / Precautions

If hypersensitivity to the medicinal product occurs, use should be limited until the changes disappear. If limiting use does not result in resolution of skin irritation, treatment should be discontinued and symptomatic treatment should be instituted. When using Cepan to treat eyelid scars, be careful not to let it get into your eyes. If the cream is accidentally swallowed, symptomatic treatment should be administered. Due to the content of cetostearyl alcohol, the product may cause a local skin reaction (e.g. contact dermatitis). Due to the content of methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate, the product may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed reactions).

Interactions

There are no interactions between the active substances, excipients and other medicinal products applied topically to the skin.

Pregnancy and lactation

There are no reports of negative effects of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Side effects

Redness and burning of the skin may occur when first using the product. These reactions are rare. If the above symptoms occur, use should be limited until the changes disappear.

Overdose

When the medicinal product is applied topically, overdose is practically impossible.
