Composition: 1-methylnicotinamide chloride, a metabolite of nicotinamide (vitamin PP).
Action: Methylnicotinamide chloride is a substance with anti-irritation protection properties confirmed in application tests (Pol. J. Pharmacol., 2003, 55, 109). It regulates the functioning of the sebaceous glands and strengthens the hair follicle, improving its nutrition. Keeps the scalp in good condition. 1-methylnicotinamide chloride, as a substance of vitamin origin, is not toxic and does not cause skin irritation.
Indications: - excessive hair loss - soothing scalp irritations. It can be used as a cosmetic agent supporting the treatment of excessive hair loss of various causes.
Adverse effects: No adverse effects were observed, apart from the typical irritating effect of cleaning substances in contact with the conjunctiva of the eye.
Dosage: The best results are achieved by using dermena® shampoo as a standard, daily (or every other day) hair wash. The shampoo can be used continuously. Apply the shampoo to wet hair and massage carefully until foam is obtained. Then rinse thoroughly. The effect of stopping hair loss and resolving seborrhea is usually observed after 3-4 weeks of daily use (less frequent use may prolong this period). The treatment can be supported by the simultaneous use of dermena® gel.
