Dexak SL 25 mg 10 sachets

NAME OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT: Dexak SL, 25 mg, granules for oral solution. QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION: each sachet of granules for oral solution contains: dexketoprofen (dexketoprofenum) 25 mg in the form of dexketoprofen trometamol salt. Excipients: sucrose 2.418 g; PHARMACEUTICAL FORM: lemon yellow granules for oral solution.

INDICATIONS FOR USE  Dexak SL short-term symptomatic treatment of acute mild to moderate pain, e.g. acute pain in the musculoskeletal and osteoarticular systems, dysmenorrhea and toothache.  

CONTRAINDICATIONS  Dexak SL Must not be used in the following cases: hypersensitivity   to the active substance, other drugs from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or to any excipient; in patients in whom substances with a similar mechanism of action (e.g. acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs) cause asthma attacks, bronchospasm, acute rhinitis or cause nasal polyps, urticaria or angioedema; if you have had a history of photoallergy or phototoxic reactions during treatment with ketoprofen or fibrates; in patients with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation related to previous NSAID treatment; in patients with active peptic ulcer disease and/or GI hemorrhage or a history of any GI bleeding, ulceration or perforation; in patients with chronic dyspepsia; in patients,who have other active bleeding or bleeding disorders; in patients with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis; in patients with severe heart failure; in patients with moderate or severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance ≤ 59 ml/min); in patients with severe liver dysfunction (Child-Pugh scale 10-15); in patients with bleeding diathesis and other blood clotting disorders; in patients with severe dehydration (caused by vomiting, diarrhea or insufficient fluid intake); in women in the third trimester of pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
