The solution has a decongestant effect on the nasal mucosa. The product allows for easier removal of excess secretions from the nasal mucosa without causing it to dry out.

The medical device contains ectoine, a naturally occurring cell-protecting molecule that has properties that soothe inflammation and stabilize cell membranes.
