Flavamed Max sirup 100 ml

Flavamed Max 30 mg/5 ml oral solution 100 ml.

NAME OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT: Flavamed max, 30 mg/5 ml, oral solution.

QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION: 1 ml of oral solution contains 6 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride. One measuring spoon, i.e. 5 ml of oral solution contains 30 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride. Excipients of known effect One measuring spoonful of 5 ml oral solution contains 1.75 g of sorbitol and 5.75 mg of benzoic acid.

PHARMACEUTICAL FORM: Oral solution. Clear, colorless to light yellow solution.

Flavamed Max - INDICATIONS FOR USE.

Mucolytic treatment of wet cough associated with acute or chronic bronchial and pulmonary diseases. Flavamed max is indicated for use in children aged 2 years and older, adolescents and adults.

Flavamed Max - Dosage.

Unless otherwise recommended, the following dosages of Ambroxoli hydrochloridum Berlin-Chemie are recommended:

Children aged 2 to 5 years:

¼ measuring spoon, i.e. 1.25 ml of oral solution 3 times a day (equivalent to 22.5 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride per day).

Children aged 6 to 12 years:

½ measuring spoon, i.e. 2.5 ml of oral solution 2 to 3 times a day (equivalent to 30 - 45 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride per day).

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age:

1 measuring spoon, i.e. 5 ml of oral solution 3 times a day (equivalent to 90 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride per day) for the first 2 to 3 days, followed by 1 measuring spoon, i.e. 5 ml of oral solution 2 times a day (equivalent to 60 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride per day).

Warning:

If necessary, in adults, the dose can be increased to 60 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride 2 times a day (equivalent to 120 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride per day).

Method of administration and duration of treatment

Berlin-Chemie's Ambroxol hydrochloridum product is intended for oral administration and to be taken after meals, using a measuring spoon.

Without consulting your doctor, Ambroxoli hydrochloridum Berlin-Chemie product should not be taken for more than 4 - 5 days.

Flavamed Max - INDICATIONS.

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients listed in section 6.1 of the Summary of Product Characteristics. Flavamed max product must not be used in children under 2 years of age.
