Lactulosum Orifarm 2.5 g/5 ml Orange flavor syrup 150 ml

Dosage (see leaflet for details)
15 ml of syrup contains 7.5 g of lactulose, and 5 ml of syrup contains 2.5 g of lactulose.

Adults:
In chronic constipation - initial dosage: 20 ml to 40 ml daily in 1 or 2 doses. Once the effect is achieved, the dose should be determined individually depending on the patient's needs.
In liver failure, pre-coma or hepatic coma 120 ml-240 ml in 3 to 4 doses daily. The dosage should be determined individually, changing it every 1-2 days so that the number of bowel movements per day is 2 to 3.

Children:
In chronic constipation - from 5 ml to 15 ml per day.
Initially, infants - 2.5 ml per day, children up to 3 years old - 5 ml per day, children over 3 years old - 15 ml per day. Then the dose of the drug can be gradually increased every 3 days until normal bowel movements are achieved. If abdominal distension occurs, the dose should be reduced to what the child tolerates.
Laxatives should be used in children under medical supervision.

Method of administration
Oral administration. It is recommended to administer the syrup after diluting it with water or fruit juice.
