How to use the patch

After quitting tobacco, apply and firmly press the NiQuitin patch for at least 10 seconds on a clean, hairless and non-irritated patch of skin. The product releases a pure form of nicotine, without the harmful substances created by burning tobacco. The duration of use of one patch is 24 hours. After this time, the used patch should be discarded, and a new one should be glued to another place on the skin. The patch should not be removed before 24 hours. NiQuitin Transparent should be applied immediately after removing from the protective packaging.

It is recommended to replace the patch with a new one immediately after waking up, at the same time every day. If necessary, the product can be combined with other forms of nicotine replacement therapy, such as lozenges and lozenge tablets.

Properly applied patches can come into contact with water, such as when bathing or playing sports.

Dosage

Full therapy with NiQuitin Transparent patches should follow the following schedule. People who smoke less than 10 cigarettes a day are advised to start therapy with Grade 2.

Composition: Nicotinum

One 22 cm2 patch contains 114 mg of nicotine and delivers 21 mg of nicotine over 24 hours.

Indications:

NiQuitin Transparent is indicated for the relief of symptoms resulting from nicotine withdrawal, such as feelings of nicotine craving, nervousness, restlessness, irritability, mood disorders, sleep disorders, concentration disorders, increased appetite, mild somatic disorders (headaches, muscle aches, constipation, fatigue) associated with smoking cessation. If possible, NiQuitin Transparent should be used simultaneously with a smoking cessation support program.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to nicotine or to any of the excipients. NiQuitin Transparent medicinal product is contraindicated in children under 12 years of age and in non-smokers.
