OINTMENT WITH ZINC OXIDE 20G FARMINA

Zinc oxide ointment  10% ointment  20 g

OTC drug

Composition per 100 g : zinc oxide 10 g, white vaseline, cholesterol, white wax, stearyl alcohol.

Indications : Supportive in skin inflammation, minor abrasions of the epidermis, acne as a drying agent.

Contraindications : Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the ointment. Do not use the ointment in acute skin inflammation, open wounds or unhealed, oozing areas of the skin and scabs. Do not use near mucous membranes, avoid contact with eyes. It is not recommended to use on large skin surfaces.

Side effects : None known so far.

Dosage : Lubricate the affected areas of the skin with a small amount of paste 1-2 times a day. Apply the preparation directly with your hand after washing your hands thoroughly. After applying the preparation to the affected area, wash your hands again.

Mechanism of action : Zinc oxide has astringent, weak antibacterial and drying properties. Creates a protective barrier that protects the skin against irritation. It has anti-inflammatory properties and soothes existing irritations. It reduces sebum production, thus relieving the symptoms of acne.
