Oxeo ORS electrolytes is a powder for the preparation of orange-flavored oral rehydration fluid in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization
Usage:
Oxeo ORS electrolytes are a combination of glucose and electrolytes with an osmolarity of 245 mOsm/l. Oxeo ORS should be used in the case of water and electrolyte balance disorders, which may occur when the body is dehydrated during diarrhea, vomiting and excessive sweating caused by increased physical exercise and hot weather.
Usage:
Oxeo ORS electrolytes are a combination of glucose and electrolytes with an osmolarity of 245 mOsm/l. Oxeo ORS should be used in the case of water and electrolyte balance disorders, which may occur when the body is dehydrated during diarrhea, vomiting and excessive sweating caused by increased physical exercise and hot weather.
Storage and use
How to use: Dissolve the contents of 1 sachet in 200 ml of water. Administer the liquid in small portions, at short intervals during the first 3-4 hours of irrigation. The liquid should not be sweetened or mixed with dairy products and juices. Children up to 15 kg: 4 sachets (800 ml of prepared liquid). Children over 15 kg and adults: 6 sachets (1200 ml of prepared liquid).
After this time, for maintenance hydration, administer the liquid prepared according to the above recipe in 100 ml portions after each bowel movement or vomiting. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
