Purpose and properties:
Excessive sweating combined with an unpleasant odor is undoubtedly a serious aesthetic and psychosocial problem affecting as many as 1% of the adult population. Excessive sweating most often affects the palms and soles of the feet. It promotes the growth of various species of fungi. The intensity of sweating of the feet and hands depends on factors such as temperature, vegetative nervous system, muscular effort, as well as the amount of fluid consumed by the body. Sweat odor is partly the result of skin bacteria. The antiperspirant effect is caused by the methenamine contained in the medical device, which owes its properties to formaldehyde released in contact with acidic sweat. Formaldehyde weakens the activity of sweat glands, inhibits bacterial activity and eliminates excessive sweating.
The sulfur contained in the product supports the action of methenamine. When rubbed into the skin, it undergoes metabolic transformations into sulphide compounds, having a keratolytic and drying effect, causing exfoliation of the keratinized layer of the epidermis. It also has bactericidal and fungicidal properties.

Storage and use
