Herbal medicinal product traditionally used in colds, supportively in inflammation of the respiratory tract and respiratory tract inflammation going with persistent and tiring cough.

PiniHelix syrup is a rich and natural composition contains 3 herbal extracts: standardized extract of ivy leaves and extracts of thyme and licorice, based on natural pine herb.

The ingredients of the syrup liquefy thick lingering secretions, facilitate their expectoration, and relax the bronchi.

Pini Helix - Composition

100 g of syrup contains:

Active substance:

Liquid extract of ivy leaves (Hederae helicis extractum fluidum) 1.7 g,

Extractant: ethanol 70% (v/v).

Excipients:

Dry extract of licorice root (Glycyrrhizae radix extr.sicc.) 5.0 g,

Extractant: water for extraction, ammonium hydroxide 10%,

Liquid extract of thyme herb (Thymi extr. fl) 4.0 g,

extractant: ethanol 30% (v/v), ammonia water, glycerol.

Ammonia water, sodium benzoate, pine herb, purified water

Pini Helix - Dosage.

Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml (2 teaspoons) 3 times a day.

Pini Helix - Contraindications.

Hypertension, cardiac arrhythmias, liver and kidney diseases, hypokalemia. Hypersensitivity to active substances or excipients contained in the preparation.

Allergy to honey or bee products and to sodium benzoate, plants of theAraliaceae family (Araliaceae).

Pini Helix - Side effects.

Side effects are extremely rare allergic reactions (such as hives, skin rash, shortness of breath), gastrointestinal symptoms (such as vomiting, nausea, diarrhea) may occur. Very rarely, with prolonged use and simultaneous exceeding of recommended doses, symptoms associated with glycyrrhizinic acid intake may occur: loss of potassium, sodium and water retention, headaches, hypertension, edema, muscle weakness.

Special warnings and precautions for use:

Not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age. Caution should be exercised in patients with gastritis and ulcers. In case of expectoration of purulent sputum, fever or shortness of breath, consult a doctor or pharmacist. When used as directed, there are no risks associated with the use of the drug. Do not exceed the recommended doses. Do not use for more than 7 days.

It is not recommended to use the product during pregnancy and lactation.
