Scorbolamide EXTRA Hot should be used with caution in bronchial asthma (possibility of worsening asthma attacks), in liver or kidney failure, in patients with a history of peptic ulcer disease and gastrointestinal bleeding, and in patients with hypertension. There is evidence that drugs that inhibit cyclooxygenase (an enzyme involved in the synthesis of prostaglandins) may cause fertility disorders in women by affecting ovulation. This effect is transient and disappears after the end of therapy. Alcohol may increase the side effects of the drug.
