Silimax , 1 capsule contains 70 mg of silymarin (Silymarin)

Excipient with known effect: lactose. One capsule contains 97.6 mg of lactose. For the full list of excipients, see section 6.1.

Silimax - Indications for use

In conditions after liver damage

caused by external toxic factors, e.g. alcohol, plant protection products, toluene, xylene, consumption of difficult-to-digest food, as well as after damage caused by the action of medicinal products. Supportive in ailments occurring after acute and chronic liver diseases.

Composition of Silimax capsules Silimax capsules dosage Usually, 1 capsule is taken orally three times a day (210 mg of silymarin per day). If the symptoms become more severe, the dose can be increased to 2 capsules twice a day (280 mg of silymarin per day). Unless your doctor advises otherwise, the medicine should be taken after a meal with water. Silimax is effective when used systematically. The duration of use should be consulted with your doctor. Treatment should last 4 weeks, and in chronic conditions up to 6 months.

Contraindications to the use of Silimax

• allergic to any of the ingredients of the drug or to plants from the Asteraceae (= Compositae) family;
• The medicine should not be used to treat acute poisoning.
