USES
Thyme Compound Syrup is indicated for use in coughs accompanying upper respiratory tract infections as an expectorant

COMPOSITION
100 g of syrup contains active substances: 15 g Thymi extractum fluidum (1:3) extractant - a mixture composed of: ammonium hydroxide (96 g / l), glycerol (860 g / l), ethanol (736 g / l), water; 0.01 g Thymolum.
Excipients: ammonium hydroxide (96.0 g/l), ethanol (760 g/l), simple syrup. (Ethanol content - not more than 4.8% (m/m)).

USE.
Always take this drug exactly as described in this leaflet for patients or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Recommended dosage:
Oral administration
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 10 ml (tablespoon) 3 times daily.
Children 6 - 12 years of age: 3 times a day 5 ml (teaspoon).
Taking more than the recommended dose of the drug Thyme Compound Syrup:
If you take a dose higher than recommended, consult a doctor.
Omission of taking Thyme Compound Syrup:
Do not use a double dose to make up for a missed dose of the drug.
Discontinuation of taking Thyme Compound Syrup:

CONTRAINDICATIONS
- if the patient is allergic to the active substance or any of the other components of this drug
- if the patient has hypersensitivity to plants of the Labiatae (formerly Lamiaceae) family;
- in children under 6 years of age;
- in patients with alcoholic disease.

SIDE EFFECTS
Like any drug, this medication may cause side effects, although they will not occur in everyone.
Hypersensitivity reactions (including isolated cases of anaphylactic shock and Quincke's edema) and gastric upset have been reported during the use of Thyme Compound Syrup.

WARNINGS
Discuss with your doctor, pharmacist or nurse before taking Thyme Compound Syrup.
If your symptoms worsen, do not go away after a few days, or are accompanied by shortness of breath, fever or purulent discharge, contact your doctor immediately.
Thyme Compound Syrup contains sucrose, should be used with caution in diabetics. If you have a history of intolerance to certain sugars, contact your doctor before taking the drug. The product contains no more than 4.8% (m/m) ethanol. A single dose of the drug (10 ml) contains about 0.36 g of ethanol, which is equivalent to 9 ml of beer and 3.75 ml of wine. Children and adolescents:
Due to the content of ethanol, the product is not recommended for use in children under 6 years of age.
