Alugastrin Dihydroxyaluminii natrii carbonas 1.02 g/15 ml Mint flavored medicine 250 ml

Alugastrin is a drug that neutralizes excess hydrochloric acid in gastric juice. It does not cause excessive alkalization of gastric juice and secondary stimulation of hydrochloric acid secretion. It protects the mucous membrane of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum. Relieves pain associated with hyperacidity of gastric juice.

Indications
Symptomatic:
- in hyperacidity of gastric juice;
- in episodic gastroesophageal reflux disease (e.g. heartburn, acid belching, acid regurgitation);
- in damage to the gastric and duodenal mucosa caused by ulcerogenic factors (e.g. non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs);
- in gastric and duodenal ulcers.

Dosage:
Adults and children over 6 years of age: unless your doctor advises otherwise, take 15 ml (tablespoon) one hour after meals and before bedtime or in the event of ailments. Shake the bottle before use. If a higher dose than recommended is used, diarrhea and swelling of the feet and lower legs may occur.

Composition:
- The active substance is dihydroxyaluminum sodium carbonate
- The other ingredients (excipients) are: mannitol, potato starch, carmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, flavor enhancer and mint, sodium saccharin


Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients. Severe kidney failure.

Storage: Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging. Store at temperatures below 25ºC. Store in the original packaging, out of the sight and reach of children. Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer use. Such behavior will help to protect the environment. Shelf life after opening: 30 days.
